S&E Track Club

Our club is focused on developing young talent in the right way. Our goal is to open opportunities to an elite training program that athletes looking to improve and take their track and field skills to the next level.

Grading performance in track n field using metrics is a must and we ask every parent and athlete to look at your athlete’s performance the last few years, all their times should be on the internet. Do you see their improvements? Then look up our times and see for yourself why our elementary, middle school and high school athletes are putting down solid times and showing a growth curve every year with times going down.

Kenny Brown
Head Coach

Native of Newport News, Va 

Graduate of Virginia Tech and University of Maryland College Park 

Past Running Experience: 400m, 800m and 4x400m Relay

Certified USATF Level 2 Coach  

Coaches: Sprints and Jumps, Coaches Sprints at Huntingtown High School

Mission: Provide Southern Maryland Track Athletes an opportunity to receive elite track and field training to meet and extend there goals.  Maryland is the home of multiple National Records in Track and Field, unlocking the talent that is within our very community is my number one goal!

Albert Flores
Assistant Head Coach

Past Running Experience: 1600m, 3000m

Certified USATF Level 1 Coach

Coaches: Cross Country, Long Distance, High Jump, Shot Put and Javelin, Coaches Long Distance at Huntingtown High School

I am a South Texas native and have been in the military for over 16 years as a firefighter and military training leader. In that time I have coached both basketball and track events for fellow Military Airmen. As a former athlete I have competed in cross country and track running both the 1600m and 3200m. Now as a father of three I want to give back to them and all kids that want to enjoy and compete to reach there goals.

Kenneth Parham
Sprint Coach

Experience: 100m, 200m and 4x100 Relay

Born and raised in Virginia, Coach K attended VSU until deciding to enlist in the US Air Force. While enlisted in the AF Coach K served as a Security Forces Member/K9 Handler over a span of 8 years.

Mission:

As a former student athlete, myself I understand the importance of our youth having positive role models in their lives. My goal is to be a positive force while training our future leaders to compete at an elite level in the sport of Track & Field.

Henderson Benjamin
Hurdles & Jump Coach

Experience: 110m Hurdles, 300m/400m Hurdles, High Jump and Long Jump

Born and raised in Virginia Beach.

Education: Old Dominion and Mercer University

Certified: National Academy of Sports Medicine

Mission: Provide local athletes the opportunity to compete at the national level. As a Scientist and Engineer by trade and profession, I focus on science/ biomechanics and athletes have an Optimal Performance Training Model.

 

Greg Harris
Strength & Conditioning Coach

Native to Southern Maryland.

27 Years Training and Coaching

Mission: I will develop a comprehensive athlete in season/offseason and provide an evaluation program which will be used for structural imbalances, major/minor injuries, rehab/treatment and injury prevention. 

Jessica Wade
Coach

Jessica Wade has been a Prince George’s county resident for 7 years and is originally from
Chesapeake, VA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Finance and Math and
master’s degree in Instructional Technology from James Madison University, as well a
master’s degree in Data Science from Loyola University Maryland. She is a member of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and an avid volunteer, serving with Zion Church - Fort Washington
campus. Jessica is the founder of the Clarke-Wade Memorial Scholarship fund, which has
provided scholarships for rising collegiate students for over 5 years and counting.
Jessica enjoys mentoring students, serving her community, and coaching track and field.
While attending James Madison University, Jessica was a scholar athlete, competing in
shot-put, hammer throw and the weight throw, and competed nationally all four years of
eligibility.
Currently, Jessica is an analyst, specializing in machine learning and statistical analytics for
Google Cloud, in the diversity, equity and inclusion organization. She strives to improve
conditions in her community by utilizing data driven statistics to make positive change and
bring awareness socially, physically, academically, geographically, and environmentally.
